Healing Trauma at Elementa Psychology.

Trauma can deeply affect the way we think, feel, and relate to the world, and healing from it takes time, care, and support. At Elementa Psychology, we provide trauma-informed therapy in a safe, non-judgemental space, helping individuals process painful experiences at their own pace and on their own terms. Whether your trauma stems from a single incident or a series of difficult events, our goal is to walk beside you as you begin the healing journey.

Trauma can show up in many ways, including flashbacks, anxiety, numbness, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. It may be the result of abuse, neglect, loss, violence, accidents or other distressing life events. At Elementa Psychology, we understand that trauma is a valid response to extraordinary experiences—and we are here to help you move through it, not around it.

Our psychologists use evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, trauma-focused CBT, and somatic approaches, adapted to suit your personal needs and comfort levels. Together, we work to gently process the past, reduce distress, and reconnect with a sense of safety, strength and self.
